Other items can be decorated in the same way. After baking, the decor must be glued. Only baked polymer clay is suitable for decorating cups, it is not afraid of water. The decor cup is washable. Friendly tip: add both glues to the brown clay piece directly instead of paper. It can be mixed as the clay is a hard surface. No waste.
Great idea!
Hii, nice work😍 thank you for sharing this ☺️ could you please tell me how long this glue takes to be fully dry?🤔 Thank you once again
This adhesive dries in 24 hours.
Hi! I have a question, after you fully bake your clay and then attach it back to the mug with the epoxy, do you add a coat to the clay piece? Or in your experience, is it necessary to add a coat after baking?
After baking, clay does not adhere well to the ceramic surface. Just if you use a cup, the decor fall off. Therefore, we remove and glue.
I want to decorate an entire glass jar, can I do it in segments? Make a decoration bake it, take off artwork and repeat?
Yes, you can.
How many hours in total does it take you to do one mug?
Youre my new favorite channel by the way 😊♥️
🥰❤️ An average of 4 hours, depending on the complexity. Before sculpting, it is necessary to knead the clay well, this also takes time.
How do you wash it? Or seal it?
Could you please tell me how long do you wait until you put the glue on. I keep putting it on the mug too early so the whole clay just slides to one side. Am I supposed to wait until the glue is very sticky?
Our epoxy glue is immediately very thick and sticky. If yours is not like that, then wait for it to become sticky.
I cannot tell you how badly I wish I had watched this tutorial a couple of hours ago. I am a newbies newbie with polymer clay but I LOVE IT. Anyway, I decided I wanted to make a polymer clay coffee cup for everyone in my doctor's office. They are just the kindest people I believe I have ever met and up until I started going to this doctor, I just never went cause I, in general, do not like doctors. I didn't need to tell you all that did I. Anyway, I've got like 20 different coffee mugs made Thank you so, so very much for any help you could give me!

mam please make a video on how to bake mugs with clay in oven or without oven
There will be nothing in the video to shoot. Just put in the oven, along with the mug. The temperature and time are indicated on the clay package.
@@polymerclayideas you'd be surprised at how many people would watch it. It's because a lot of us are new and very timed to glue clay onto cup and then put in the oven. Everyone just needs to be assured you can bake the clay and coffee cup. You could just edit your video with clay on the cup and being placed in the oven. Then you can also show clay instructions, 'where to find the instructions and the bake temperature and for how long'. I really think if you put it out, a lot of us will watch n share. Go for it!! Good luck!! Have an awesome day!!
is this dishwasher safe or do you hand wash it
Mugs, cups and other products decorated with polymer clay should only be washed by hand. The dishwasher can damage the decor.
Thank you
I think you can use mod podge dishwasher safe but there’s a different in “dry & cured time” so to completely cured it will take about 28 days. Hope that helps!
Hi can i use warm glue? Can I put it in the dishwasher , and do you put it in the oven whit the cup under, or did you take the cup of?😀
Hello! Hot glue does not stick ceramics. Do not put a cup with polymer clay decor in the dishwasher.
@@polymerclayideas okey but can i use tree glue?
May I know are you using acetone or rubbing alcohol to clean after sanding the decor ???
& Are you using marker pen to mark the decor???
Hi, nice but how u separate between polymer clay and mug after baked for put the glue on? TQ
Polymer clay does not adhere very well to ceramic surfaces. Easily removable.
Hola y no se despega de la taza con lo caliente..?? gracias por el tutorial. Creo q me servira mucho.
Hi what is the grit of the sandpaper?
This is not very important. Somewhere average, from 80 to 160 microns
Do you bake it with mug or no?
Yes, ceramic mugs and cups can be baked in the oven along with polymer clay.
What types of glue are you using? I see that you just combined 2 types.. Thanks
No, this is such glue. Epoxy adhesive consists of 2 parts.
THAT IS ALL AWESOME❤❤❤👌👌👌
Thanks 👍
